IMAX Sneak Peek at New Star Trek Film
If you go to see "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" starting December 14th in an IMAX theater, you'll get to see something special. Paramount Pictures is premiering nine minutes from "Star Trek Into Darkness," according to TheWrap.com. You won't be able to see the whole movie until May 17, 2013.
Bon Jovi's Daughter Allegedly Overdoses on Heroin
She's okay, but the 19-year-old daughter of Bon Jovi is now facing charges after an alleged overdoes on heroin. TMZ is reporting that someone found Stephanie Rose Bongiovi unresponsive in a dorm room at Hamilton College early Wednesday. Police say they found heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and has been ordered to appear in court at a later date.
Johnny Carson Feature Film In The Works
It could be a ways off, but Deadline.com is reporting that Johnny Carson's estate has teamed with producers to develop a film about Carson. It would be based on an upcoming book titled "Carson the Magnificent: An Intimate Portrait." The author, Bill Zehme, is the only journalist Carson spoke to after he retired from "The Tonight Show." The writer of "Black Swan" is working on a script now.
Blair Warner Has West Nile Virus
I've loved watching Lisa Welchel on "Survivor: Philippines" this season. She's nothing like her Blair Warner character from "Facts of Life," and is actually quite shy and seems like the kind of woman I would befriend. On Tuesday Welchel revealed she has West Nile Virus. No indication it came from her time on the show, and she expects a full recovery. She tweeted, "I'm fine, just tired. Takes a year to recover."
