John's been doing the morning show on 104.5 WFMB in 1995, and he's been stuck there ever since. Michele MItchell...has been doing the morning show with John since 1998...they are the longest-running morning show in Springfield.

It's Official for Britney Spears
There's been speculation for months, but now it's official. E! News reports Britney Spears has officially signed on to be a judge on "X Factor's" upcoming season. Spears joins Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid at the judges table. A fourth judge has yet to be named. although Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus are among the rumored contenders.
Vidal Sassoon Dead at 84
One of the most famous hair stylists of all time died at his home in Los Angeles Wednesday at the age of 84. Vidal Sassoon opened his first salon in 1954 in London and eventually became a household name for his hair care products, hair-cutting schools, and salons. He is believed to have died of natural causes.
"General Hospital" Takes Most Daytime Emmy Nominations
The Daytime Emmy nominations are out, and "General Hospital" received the most with 23 nods. On the talk show side "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" received the most nominations with 12. The awards will be handed out June 23rd at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
