“The Bible” Producers Say Satan/Obama Connection is Nonsense
Sunday when Satan showed up on the miniseries “The Bible” he caused quite a stir. Many were struck by his apparent resemblance to the President. Now the producers of the show are talking. Mark Burnett and Roma Downey call it “utter nonsense” in the statement they released Monday. They added that the actor who played Satan has “previously played parts in several Biblical epics – including Satanic characters long before Barack Obama was elected as our President.” The History Channel also weighed in saying it has “the highest respect for President Obama” and called it “unfortunate that anyone made this false connection.
Magneto To Officiate Professor X’s Wedding
Oh I hope they do it in their “X-Men” costumes. Patrick Stewart is getting married, and his “X-Men” co-star, Sir Ian McKellen, told Britain’s “The Jonathan Ross Show” he will be officiating at the wedding. Stewart plays Professor X and McKellen plays Magneto in the “X-Men” movies. The two are rivals in the films.
Omarosa Planning to Sue LaToya Jackson Over Comments on “Celebrity Apprentice”
It was awfully contentious on Sunday night’s “Celebrity Apprentice.” (Isn’t it always?) It was even worse than usual between La Toya Jackson and Omarosa. First a little back story…Omarosa was engaged to actor Michael Clarke Duncan. He died last year of a heart attack. During Sunday night’s show Jackson and Omarosa were fighting (again) and Jackson said this to the camera, “Omarosa’s fiancé passed away not long ago. He had a heart attack, I’m sure she gave it to him.” She also had this to say, “Omarosa is the most evil person I have ever met. She’s a no good, conniving, scheming, cut-throat, probably pulled the cord on Michael Duncan Clarke.” Now Omarosa’s lawyer tells Radar she plans to sue Jackson for defamation.
