Ellen DeGeneres has inked a new contract that will keep her talk show on the air through the 2016-2017 season.  The show does very well...tied with "Dr. Phil" for the number one syndicated talk show this season in the key demo of women 25-54.

"All My Children" and "One Life to Live" Returning...Online
If you went into withdrawal in 2011 when soaps "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" were canceled there's good news.  Both shows will return starting April 29th online.  Each show will be streamed weekdays in 30 minute episodes on Hulu.  They'll also be available on iTunes.

Judy Blume Book Comes to the Big Screen
Reading Judy Blume books was a right of passage for girls my age, and now one of them is coming to a movie theater near you.  I'm just bummed it isn't "Are You There God, It's Me Margaret."  Instead "Tiger Eyes" is scheduled to hit theaters June 7th.  This is the first time any of Blume's books have become a feature film. Her books have sold more than 80-million and and been translated into 31 languages.
