John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

"The Amazing Spider-Man" Surprises No One
I don't think anyone is shocked that "The Amazing Spider-Man" took the top spot at the box office over the weekend with $65-million.  "Ted" brought in $32.6-million to come in second, while "Brave" was third with $20.2-million.

Ernest Borgnine Dead at 95
Oscar-winning actor Ernest Borgnine died Sunday at the age of 95.  The actor is probably best known for his role on "McHale's Navy" but had a film career that included an Oscar for "Marty" and roles in "The Dirty Dozen," "The Poseidon Adventure," and more.

Tom Cruise/Katie Homes Divorce Could Come Off Without a Hitch
When the news broke that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were ending their five-year marriage, everyone anticipated a nasty divorce battle.  However, TMZ.com is citing an unnamed source who says Cruise and Holmes are working out a settlement trying to avoid having their issues aired in court.

"Happy Days" Cast Is Happy Again
Former cast members of "Happy Days", CBS Corp, and Paramount Pictures have announced a settlement over royalty payments the actors claimed they were owed.  Anson Williams, Marion Ross, Don Most, Erin Moran, and the widow of the late Tom Bosley claimed they were owed $10-million in royalties from sales of merchandise that included their images....lunch boxes, t-shirts, comic books, etc.  No one is disclosing the terms of the settlement.

There's Another Kardashian
They're multiplying!  We have yet another Kardashian.  Kourtney Kardashian and her husband have welcomed a baby girl.  Penelope Scotland Disick arrived Sunday and weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces.  She's little sister to two-year-old Mason.

Seth Meyers Front Runner to Replace Regis
Word is Seth Meyers is co-hosting "Live!" this week as a final test run before he's announced as the new host.  Kelly Ripa has hosted with numerous guest hosts since Regis retired.
