"The Hobbit" Will Be Three Films
Really? Three? Director Peter Jackson has confirmed the much-anticipated story of "The Hobbit" will come to us now in three films instead of two. The first film, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," is to be released December 13 of this year. The second film, "There and Back Again," will be out December 13, 2013. No word on a title or release date for the third film in the trilogy, but word it the studio is eyeing a summer 2014 date.
Another "Real Housewives" Marriage Is over
Here we go again. This time "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Adrienne Maloof is splitting from her husband, Dr. Paul Nassif. He filed papers Monday and is seeking joint custody of their three kids.
Fred Willard Loses Another Job
ABC has announced it's cancelling "Trust Us With Your Life," an improv show hosted by Fred Willard, due to low ratings. "The Hollywood Reporter" says the show will be replaced with reruns of "Wipeout." This is the second job Willard has lost in the last couple of weeks following his arrest earlier this month in an adult theater in L.A. The first job he lost was when PBS fired him from "Market Warriors."
Bret Michaels Is No Longer Engaged
Bret Michaels has split from Kristi Gibson. They couple got engaged on his reality show, "Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It."
