After 15 years, we're down to the last week. July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning. There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business. She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital. It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Mariah Carey Is Official on "Idol"
It was confirmed Monday that Mariah Carey will be a judge on the upcoming season of "American Idol." During a call to the members of the Television Critics Association Monday Carey said, "I can't wait to get started." Word is the deal was brokered by fellow judge, Randy Jackson, who happens to be Carey's manager. Simon Cowell of "X Factor," who once said he'd love to have Carey as a judge on his show, told "Entertainment Weekly" Monday he thought Carey was "going to find it difficult to say 'no' to contestants. She's sweet." Word is Carey will get getting $18-million making her the highest paid judge on any reality show.

Just when you thought Kate Gosselin was gone for good...E! News is reporting the mother of eight has signed on to do a dating show and is currently looking for a network that wants to air her quest for love.
More Jackson Drama, Police Are Called to Home
Police were called to the Jackson Family compound Monday following reports of a fight between two people inside the home, according to TMZ.com. No word on who was fighting, however sources say the alleged fight had something to do with a dispute over Michael Jackson's financial affairs.
