John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

More Craziness Out of the Jackson Family
When Michael Jackson died and the trial of his doctor concluded, I thought we wouldn't be hearing much about the Jackson family anymore.  Wrong.  Over the weekend CNN reported Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, was reported missing by her nephew when the grandchildren where unable to get in touch with her for a week.  Then Jermaine, Katherine's son, tweeted a number of messages saying she is fine and resting on doctors orders.  However Paris, Michael's daughter who's been under the care of Katherine since he died, tweeted "the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother...just saying."

Movie Studio Debates What To Do About "Gangster Squad" in the Wake of the Colorado Theater Shooting
You may have already seen the movie trailer for the upcoming film, "Gangster Squad."  In the film trailer there is a scene where gangsters shoot up a theater full of movie goers...eerily similar to the massacre that happened in Aurora, Colorado.  Warner Brothers immediately pulled the trailer out of theaters, but now they are discussing whether to remove or edit the scene from the film.  "Gangster Squad" stars Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, and Emma Stone and is to be released September 7th.
