Lance Armstrong to Talk with Oprah
Thursday, January 17th, disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong will sit down with Oprah for an interview on her OWN network. Of course we don't know what he'll say, but the "New York Times" recently reported Armstrong is on the verge of 'fessing up to cheating through the use of performance-enhancing drugs.' The interview will be part of a special 90-minute episode.
Kimye Buys a Mansion
They're having a baby, and now they've bought a house. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West plunked down $11-million for a mansion in Bel Air. it's not quite big enough though. "The Hollywood Reporter" says they'll be adding four-thousand square feet to the ten-thousand square foot property.
Justin Bieber to Host and Perform on SNL
"Billboard" is reporting Justin Bieber will host and perform on SNL February 9th. NBC hasn't yet confirmed this news. Bieber is doing it to promote a new album about January 29th.
Blake Shelton's ACM Co-Host Revealed
Looks like Luke Bryan will co-host the Academy of County Music Awards in the spring. He'll team with Blake Shelton for the first time, while this will be Shelton's third hosting gig. The awards are April 7th.
The Razzie Nominations Are Here
The Oscar nominations will be made known Thursday morning, but on Tuesday the award nominations no one wants to receive were revealed. The 33rd Golden Raspberry Award nominees for the worst achievements in cinema were announced. At the top of the list was the final installment of the "Twilight" series. It received a nomination in every major category. In the Worst Picture category "Twilight" is up against "Battleship, "The Oogieloves in Big Balloon Adventure", "That's My Boy," and "A Thousand Words."
