Season 3 Premiere of "Downton Abbey" Almost Doubles Ratings
Season 2's premiere pulled in 4.2-million viewers. Sunday's season 3 premiere had 7.9-million viewers...a series high and second only to CBS for the night.
"One Life to Live" and "All My Children" to Return
Two popular soaps are returning, but not to television. Production company Prospect Park announced Monday that "One Life to Live" and "All My Children" will begin production next month, and both shows will be be revived online. No word yet on which stars from the shows will return.
Jimmy Kimmel Moves Up An Hour Tonight
Tonight's a big night for Jimmy Kimmel. His show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" starts airing at 10:35pm (our time) tonight. That puts him in direct competition with David Letterman and Jay Leno. Kimmel's show debuted in 2003 and is the longest running late-night talk show in ABC history. Tonight Kimmel welcomes Jennifer Aniston and No Doubt.
Thursday Oscar Nominations Revealed
Thursday is a big day for Hollywood. The nominees for the 85th Academy Awards will be announced, and for the first time since 1972 the host of the show will help make the announcements. Seth MacFarlane is the first since Charlton Heston to do it. He'll be joined by Emma Stone.
Ryan Lochte Gets Reality Show
Remember Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte? One of the stars of the London Olympics announced Monday he will have his own reality show on E!. Titled "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?", the show will start with a six episode run in April.
