"Lincoln" Leads Oscar Nominations with 12

Katy Perry Wins 4 People's Choice Awards
The people made their voices heard last night on the People's Choice Awards. Katy Perry picked up four awards including Favorite Female Artist. On the movie side it was a good night for "The Hunger Games" with seven wins including Favorite Movie. Ellen DeGeneres won for Favorite Daytime TV Host for the 13th time.
Muppet Sequel May Include Tina Fey
Filming is set to begin later this month in London for the latest Muppet movie, and "The Hollywood Reporter" saying Tina Fey is in talks to play the part of a "Russian gulag prison guard." Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell have already announced their involvement.
"Days of Our Lives" Is Sticking Around
Those of you hooked on your soaps will be happy to know Days of Our Lives" has been renewed at least through September 2014. It's the only soap left on NBC. Meantime, the only soap left on ABC, "General Hospital," is bringing back a fan favorite. Genie Francis will return to the show as part of the 50th anniversary on April 1st.
