Sinead O'Connor Congratulates the Pope on His Retirement
She made a lot of people very angry in 1992 when she tore up a picture of Pope John Paul the Second on "Saturday Night Live."  Now her comments on Pope Benedict's retirement will be sure to anger people again.  Monday Sinead O'Connor wrote on her website that the Pope has made a "wise decision to retire before the very worst of what has been going on is discovered."  She doesn't explain to what she is referring.  O'Connor also says Benedict's "greatest achievement is this act of retiring."
