PETA Upset About Beyonce's Halftime Outfit
While some criticized the content of Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime performance, PETA is just upset about what she wore. Her black leather body suit included python and paneled iguana. That's a PETA no-no. This isn't the first time PETA has poo-pooed Beyonce's clothing. Last month they didn't like the mink coat she wore to the President's inauguration.
"Anchorman 2" Just Got Funnier
The much-anticipated sequel to "Anchorman" is on track for a December release, and now it will be even funnier with the addition of Kristen Wiig. She'll play the wife of Steve Carell's weatherman character, Brick Tamland. The cast also includes Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, Vince Vaughn, Luke Wilson, David Koechner, and of course Will Ferrell.
Connecticut is Angry About Spielberg's "Lincoln"
"Lincoln" may be the top contender at the upcoming Oscars, but the state of the Connecticut isn't happy about it. Connecticut Congressman, Joe Courtney, wants director Steven Spielberg to change the film before it comes out on DVD due to a historical inaccuracy. In the film, two of the three Connecticut Congressional members vote against the 13th amendment abolishing slavery. Courtney says that's wrong and in fact all four of Connecticut's House members voted in favor of the amendment.
There Will Be "Star Wars" Spinoffs
Not only will there be a new "Star Wars" trilogy that picks up after "Return of the Jedi," now Disney's CEO has confirmed there are plans to makes spinoff films. No details yet on the which characters will be included. I vote Chewbacca!
New Monopoly Piece Unveiled
It's official. The iron is out. The cat is in. Online voters cast hundreds of thousands of votes for the Monopoly piece they wanted. The cat won. It beat out a ring, a robot, a helicopter, and a guitar.
