John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Super Bowl Ratings Big...But Not as Big as the Last Two Years
Don't get me wrong...the Super Bowl had a lot of viewers.  However it wasn't as big as last year.  This year 108.4-million tuned in.  Last year it was over 111-million.  There was a big difference for the post-Super Bowl shows too.  Last year "The Voice" had over 37-million viewers while this year "Elementary" had 20.8-million.

Ricki Lake Show Canceled
The first time she had a talk show it lasted more than ten years.  Not this time.  Ricki Lake's new talk show has been canceled after just one season.  She's not the only talk show having a hard time.  Shows from Anderson Cooper and Jeff Probst are also struggling.  On the other hand Katie Couric's show has been renewed for a second season, and "The Steve Harvey Show" has also been renewed.

Robin Wiliams Could Be Back on TV in a Comedy
He's known more as a movie star these days, but Robin Williams could be back on your TV soon.  He's going to star in a pilot from David E. Kelley.  It's called "Crazy Ones," and it's about a father and a daughter who work together in an ad office.
