John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

The much-anticipated "Lincoln" by Steven Spielberg is out this November.  Here's a shot from the film.

Broadway to Honor Marvin Hamlisch Tonight
He's won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, Tony, and a Pulitzer Prize and wrote incredible songs and scores for films and shows like "A Chorus Line," "The Goodbye Girl," "The Way We Were," and "Sophie's Choice."  Marvin Hamlisch has died at the age of 68 of undisclosed causes.  Tonight Broadway will dim the lights at 8:00pm Eastern in honor of Hamlisch.

Jennifer Lopez Doesn't Put Up With Extortionists
J-Lo has filed a lawsuit against her former driver for $20-million.  Lopez alleges Hakob Manoukian demanded she pay him $2.8-million or he would release "sensitive and personal information" he overheard while driving her around.  Manoukian started the whole thing back in April when he filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit again Lopez and her manager saying he never received bonus pay.

Fall TV Premiere Dates Include Matthew Perry's New Show Tonight
When I think fall premiere I think September, but some shows are premiering much earlier.  Matthew Perry's show that's been relentlessly promoted during the Olympics, "Go On," makes its commercial-free premiere tonight after Olympic coverage.  Here are more shows premiering soon...
Sunday 8/12: 8pm "Hell on Wheels" on AMC
Following the Olympics "Animal Practice" on NBC (commercial-free preview)
Monday, 8/13: 7pm "Stars Earns Stripes" on NBC
9pm "Grimm" on NBC
Friday, 8/17: 9pm "Boss" on Starz
