You can hear us weekdays 6am - 10am on 104.5 WFMB in Springfield. John Spalding...has been on the radio in Springfield for over 30 years. John's been doing the morning show on 104.5 WFMB in 1995, and he's been stuck there ever since. Michele MItchell...has been doing the morning show with John since 1998...they are the longest-running morning show in Springfield.

Comedy Legend Phyllis Diller Dead
She was known for her crazy laugh, and she loved plastic surgery. Phyllis Diller died Monday at her home in Los Angeles at the age of 95. According to Diller's manager she died peacefully in her sleep and her son "found her with a smile on her face."
Rosie O'Donnell Recovering from a Heart Attack
Rosie O'Donnell says a TV commercial saved her life. Monday O'Donnell revealed she suffered a heart attack last week and is now recovering. She says she's "very, very lucky" and owes some of her "luck" to a TV commercial that said to take aspirin in the event of a possible heart attack.
Kelly Ripa Getting a New Co-Host September 4th
Well it's about time! Regis retired back in November, and finally Kelly Ripa is getting a permanent co-host. Ripa will kick off the season September 3rd solo, and on September 4th she'll walk out hand-in-hand with her new partner.
Nicki Minaj to be an "Idol" Judge?
Just about everyone is the music business has been rumored to be a new judge on "American Idol's" upcoming season, but now sources are telling "Us Weekly" that Nicki Minaj is all but a done deal. The sources says there are "a few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening." If it's true, Minaj would join new judge Mariah Carey. As for Randy Jackson, sources say he will be moved to a mentoring role.
New Survivor Cast Includes Former "Facts of Life" and Baseball Star
When the 25th season of "Survivor" premieres on September 19th there will be a few familiar faces on the show. Lisa Whelchel, who played Blair on the "Facts of Life," and former San Francisco Giant Jeff Kent will be among the 18 castaways competing for a million dollars. The show will also feature three returning castaways. Each of them had to be medically evacuated from their season, but now they're getting another chance at redemption. The three will be revealed later this week. "Survivor: Philippines" starts with a 90-minute debut episode September 19th at 7pm on CBS.
