Director of "Top Gun" Jumps to His Death
Tony Scott, director of films like "Top Gun" and "Beverly Hills Cop II" is dead after an apparent suicide.  The L.A. County Coroner told "The Contra Costa Times" that Scott jumped to his death Sunday afternoon from the Vincent Thomas Bridge over Los Angeles Harbor.  A suicide note was reportedly found in his car, which was parked on one of the lanes of the bridge.  Scott's body was recovered by a dive team.  Scott's older brother, Ridley Scott, is also a director of such films are "Alien" and "Thelma & Louise."  The two were co-producers of "The Good Wife" and "NUMB3RS" on CBS.

Jay Leno Takes a Pay Cut to Save Jobs
There were some pink slips handed out at "The Tonight Show" after a budget overhaul at NBC.  Approximately two dozen staffers were let go, and it would have been more if Jay Leno hadn't taken a pretty large pay cut.  According to the LA Times, Leno was earning $25 - $30-million a year, but will now be getting about $20-million.  Several other staffers with large salaries also accepted pay cuts to keep other staffers from losing their jobs.
