The Olympics Are Over
The closing ceremonies of the Olympics featured just about every musician Britain has ever produced in a three-hour-plus extravaganza. The Who, George Michael, The Spice Girls, and The Pet Shop Boys were just a few of the more than two-dozen acts that performed.
Jennifer Aniston Engaged
Rumors were that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would marry over the weekend, but it doesn't look like that happened. However, Brad Pitt's ex, Jennifer Aniston, did get engaged to her boyfriend of over a year, Just Theroux. Aniston's rep confirmed the news to People.com saying the couple got engaged at Theroux's birthday party Friday.
Another "Bill & Ted" Adventure?
Aren't they a little old for this? It's been 23 years since "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" became a hit and launched the career or Keanu Reeves. Now it looks like there's another film in the works. "Vulture" says both Reeves and Alex Winter have signed on for the third film of the franchise.
"Bourne Legacy" Knocks "Dark Knight" Out of Top Spot
The fourth Bourne film finally ends the reign of "Dark Knight Rises" at the box office. "The Bourne Legacy" starring Jeremy Renner made $40.3-million.
Miley Cyrus to Guest on "Two and a Half Men"
We don't know if here drastic haircut is for her new role or not, but Miley Cyrus will be a guest star on the upcoming season of "Two and a Half Men." E! News is reporting a source says Cyrus will appear in several episodes of the show sparking the romantic interest of Jake Harper.
