John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Evil Wins at the Weekend Box Office
It was evil coming out on top at the movies this weekend.  "Evil Dead" was first with $26-million.  In second it was a tie between "The Croods" and "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" opened in third with $21.1-million.

Halle Berry Expecting Another Baby
She's 46, but that's not stopping her.  She's expecting her second child...her first with her current beau Olivier Martinez.

"Star Trek" Phaser Sells for Over $200,000 at Auction
It was a one-of-a-kind phaser rifle used by William Shatner on "Star Trek" and it went for $231,000 at an auction.  Surprisingly it's not the most expensive item to sell from the 1960's show.  Back in 2008 someone paid $304,750 for the captain's chair from the show.  In 2006 a special effects model of the Enterprise from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" sold for $576,000.
