John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Michael Jackson Wrongful Death Trial Underway
When Michael Jackson died suddenly in 2009 he was preparing for a tour, and his family says the concert promoters contributed to his premature death.  A jury will decide if AEG Live is liable for $40-billion in the trial that started Monday in Los Angeles.  Jackson's mother and siblings Randy and Rebbie were in court for the start of the trial.  In opening statements an attorney for AEG Live warned the trial will bring to light "some ugly stuff about the singer's private behavior."

"The Voice" Lines Up Talent for Upcoming Shows
Lady Antebellum will perform on "The Voice" on May 14th, and they're not the only act coming to the show.  Robin Thicke will join them on the episode.  Rod Stewart is scheduled for May 10th along with Cee-Lo Green who will perform one of his new songs.
Tony Nominations Out
The award show is June 9th, but the nominations come first.  "Kinky Boots" was the leading nominee with 13 nods.  Several Hollywood stars picked up nominations including Tom Hanks, Laurie Metcalf, Holland Taylor, and Cicely Tyson.
