John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Who Was Booted from "Idol" Last Night?  No one!
After determining that Amber and Candice were the lowest vote-getters this week, Ryan Seacrest broke the news that no one would be going home this week on "American Idol."  Why?  Because the show builds in an extra week for the "judges save" option, and the judges never used it.  The show had to get back on track, so this week no one went home.  However, your votes still count...they'll be rolled over to next week.

Annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner is Saturday
Conan O'Brien will host, and several Hollywood types are on the guest list including Ashley Judd, Nicole Kidman, cast member from "Modern Family."  If you want to see it live, C-Span will carry it as well as MSNBC.
"Idol" Ratings Bested by a Cable Show
Poor "American Idol."  Last week there was the news that the show was beaten in the ratings by reruns of "Big Bang Theory."  This week "Idol" falls to the season finale of "Duck Dynasty" on A&E.  "Idol" wasn't the only show "Duck Dynasty" was the highest rated show Wednesday night.
