John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Justin Bieber Pranks TMZ on April Fool's Day
TMZ's phones were jammed on Monday when Justin Bieber decided to pull a prank on them for April Fool's Day.  Early Monday he tweeted that he would be "taking all fan phone calls" along with a toll-free number.  Turns out the phone number was actually the TMZ tip line...and Bieber has 36-million followers.  It will probably cost TMZ a pretty penny...they have to pay for every call they receive at that number.

"Conan" Staying Through 2015
While the late night drama continues on NBC between Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon it's smooth sailing for Conan O'Brien.  TBS has renewed "Conan" through November of 2015.

Finales of "Walking Dead" and "The Bible" Draw Big
Sunday was a big night on TV with the season 3 finale of "Walking Dead" and the miniseries finale of "The Bible.  Both did big numbers, but the zombies managed to outdraw Jesus.  "The Walking Dead" had about 12.4-million viewers, while "The Bible" had about 11.7-million.  Sunday was also a record-setter for "Game of Thrones" on HBO.  The show's 3rd season premiere pulled 4.4-million...a series record for the show.
