After 15 years, we're down to the last week. July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning. There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business. She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital. It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week. Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet.
Jimmy Kimmel vs. Morrissey Feud Is Official
Tuesday night Morrissey was supposed to be the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel's show, but he canceled saying he couldn't be on the show alongside the other guests from "Duck Dynasty" because they are basically "animal serial killers." Kimmel naturally had a little fun with the situation introducing a spoof ad for a vegan-friendly product from the "Duck Dynasty" gang.
Kimmel also made a joke that Morrissey "keeps finding new ways to depress us" and that he chose not to cut the cast of "Duck Dynasty" because "they have guns." Morrissey wasn't too pleased with Kimmel's comments and responded with a statement on Wednesday. He said he was "disappointed" with Kimmel for ridiculing depression, healthy eating habits, and "the notion that animals should be entitled to the possession of their own lives."

Screaming teenage girls are scary! Just ask Harry Styles of "One Direction." The culprit is 14-year old Jade Anderson who tweeted, "tonight i threw my shoe and it hit harry in the balls then security came and took me out the concert then i got my shoe back hahahahah." She also apologized saying, "@harry_styles im the one that threw my shoe at you, i never meant to hurt you :-("
He did it once, and that was enough. Seth MacFarlane responded to a tweet asking if he'd host the Academy Awards again. He said, "No way. Lotta fun to have done it though."

Singer Morrissey was scheduled to perform on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" tonight, but instead Churchill will provide the music. Morrissey decided he couldn't "morally be on a television program" with Kimmel's other guests...the cast from "Duck Dynasty." Why? Morrissey said he couldn't "risk his reputation" by being on a show with "animal serial killers," so he gave the show a "them or me" ultimatum. Kimmel's show went with the cast of "Duck Dynasty."
