After 15 years, we're down to the last week. July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning. There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business. She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital. It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Kimye's having a baby. Yes, Kim Kardashian is having a baby, and Kanye West is the father. He broke the news during his concert last night in Atlantic City. This will be the first child for each of them, and yes, Kardashian is still legally married to her husband, Kris Humphries.
No Dick Clark Tonight, But He will Be Remembered
It just won't seem like a real New Year's eve celebration without Dick Clark, but the show will go on. Tonight's "New Year's Rockin' Eve" will be the first without Clark, who passed away in April. The show's been on since the early 1970's. Tonight's celebration will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and will include a two-hour special celebrating Clark. Clark's name was also etched into one of the panels on the crystal ball that will drop in Times Square.
"The Hobbit" Wins Again
It's been three weeks in a row at number one for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." The film pulled in another $32.9-million over the weekend. At number two it was the latest from Quentin Tarantino, "Django Unchained," with $30.7-million. "Les Miserables" was third with $28-million.
Matthew McConaughey and Wife Welcome Third Child
Last Friday it was a boy for Matthew McConaughey and his wife. Little Livingston Alves McConaughey was born at 7:43am, was 21 inches long, and weighed in at 9 lbs.
The Tournament of Roses Parade Will Include a Wedding Tomorrow
If you're a fan of the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day, you'll want to watch for the Farmers Insurance "Love Float." That's where Nicole and Gerald from Chesapeake, Virginia will get married. The couple won a contest receiving a trip to Pasadena, wedding gown and tuxedo, rings, hair and makeup for the bride, great seats for the Rose Bowl, and a wedding on national TV.

The producers managed to hide the pregnancy during this season of "Homeland," but Claire Danes was pregnant. And finally Monday Danes and her husband, Hugh Dancy, welcomed their baby boy - Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy. It's their first child.
Sam Donaldson Arrested for DUI
He used to report the news, now he's in the news. ABC newsman Sam Donaldson was arrested for DUI earlier this month in Delaware. The 78-year-old was arrested after failing a field sobriety test. No comment from ABC.
Discovery Channel Dropping Two Gun Shows
Say goodbye to "Ted Nugent's Gun Country"and "American Guns" on the Discovery Channel. Both shows are getting the ax from the network. The Nugent show, according to an unnamed spokesperson for the channel, did not do well in the ratings.
NBC Moving the "Tonight Show" up 1 Minute
Does anyone else think this is ridiculous? NBC seems to be concerned that Jimmy Kimmel's show will be a direct competitor to Jay Leno starting January 8th when Kimmel's show will start at 11:35pm eastern. In response, NBC is changing the start time of "The Tonight Show" to 11:34pm...one minute earlier. Kimmel doesn't seem too worried about it saying it's just "a trick designed to bring up ratings in the first month.
"The Voice" Crowns a Season Three Winner
Blake Shelton must have the magic touch. For the second season in a row one of his team members has won the big prize on "The Voice." Last night it was Cassadee Pope named as the winner. She gets a recording contract with Universal Music Group. The runner-up was Terry McDermott followed by Nicholas David.
"X Factor" Finale Tonight
Expect lots of stars on tonight's season two finale of "X Factor." LeAnn Rimes, Little Big Town, and Emi Lovato are all set to duet with the three finalists. Part one of the finale is tonight on FOX.
Miss USA Isn't Rigged
At least that's what a judge has decided. Ex-Miss Pennsylvania, Sheena Monin, accused the Miss USA pageant of being rigged, among other things. Trump, who owns the pageant, said her statements were defamatory. A judge agreed and award the organization $5-million in damages.The Miss Universe pageant, also owned by Trump, airs tonight on NBC.
Nielsen Teaming with Twitter for New Ratings
We've always known Nielsen for TV ratings, but the way people watch TV has changed so Nielsen is changing with it. They already measure live TV viewing along with DVR viewing, and now they're teaming with Twitter for a new set of ratings. It will be called "Nielsen Twitter TV Rating" and will measure how much Twitter chatter there is about what's on TV. The new ratings will launch next fall.

The Sexiest Man Alive will soon be the sexiest daddy alive. Channing Tatum and his wife are expecting a baby. The child will be their first.
Morgan Freeman Denies Writing Statement
If you've been on Facebook in the days following the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School. you've probably seen a statement attributed to Morgan Freeman. The statement criticizes the coverage of the shooting and accuses the media of turning perpetrators into celebrities. However, Morgan Freeman had absolutely nothing to do with it. His publicist tells TheWrap.com Freeman is trying to figure out how his name even got attached to it.

As all of us were reeling from the devastating shooting Newtown, Connecticut Friday, Hollywood reacted by postponing a number of events and shows. The premiere for Tom Cruise's new movie, "Jack Reacher" while FOX pulled episodes of "Family Guy," "American Dad," and "The Cleveland Show" that were supposed to air Sunday.
Samuel L. Jackson Drops the F-Bomb on SNL
He says it wasn't his fault, but Samuel L Jackson said the F-Word on SNL during his over the weekend. Jackson says he wasn't really supposed to say it, but Kenan Thompson didn't cut him off during their skit like he was supposed to. After Jackson slipped he was heard uttering another word to which Thompson said, "C'mon Sam. That costs money."
Kelly Clarkson Engaged
Congratulations to Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock. They got engaged on Friday. Blackstock's dad is Kelly's manager, his step-mom is Reba McEntire, and he manages Blake Shelton. So it's all in the family. Clarkson tweeted it was the "happiest day of my life."

"Lincoln" Leads the Golden Globe Nominations
Thursday the nominees were announced for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards. "Lincoln" received seven nods including biggies like Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Director for Steven Spielberg, and Best Actor for Daniel Day Lewis. On the TV side, the nominees for Best TV Drama are "Breaking Bad," "Boardwalk Empire," "Downton Abbey," "Homeland," and "The Newsroom." In the Best TV Comedy or Musical category: "Big Bang Theory," "Episodes," "Girls," "Modern Family," and "Smash" were all nominated. The awards will be held Sunday January 13th on NBC and hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.
L.A. Reid Not Returning to "X Factor"
Looks like it will be two seasons and done for L.A. Reid. In a statement to "The Hollywood Reporter" Reid says he is honored to have been a part of the show but he needs to get back to "his core business." He's talking about being CEO of Epic Records.

"Storage Wars" is Staged, Says Ex-Cast Member
If you've ever watched A&E's "Storage Wars," you probably remember Dave Hester. Hester has been on the show since 2010 and is known for his trademark "Yep!" when bidding. Hester has filed a lawsuit against the show saying it's rigged. He claims he was fired in October after he complained about it in a meeting with producers and says "nearly every aspect of the show is faked." Hester claims the producers once buried a BMW Mini under trash in one storage unit and a pile of newspapers announcing Elvis Presley's death in another. A&E has not commented on the lawsuit.

Beyonce Signs a $50-million Deal With Pepsi
Pepsi has always aligned itself with big celebrities, and now they've signed one of the biggest. Beyonce has just signed a multi-year deal for $50-million to star in commercials and print ads. It's also to include a "fund to support the singer's chosen creative projects." The whole partnership begins with the Pepsi half time show at the Super Bowl in February.
"Dallas" To Lay J.R. To Rest
After the death of Larry Hagman three weeks ago, folks wondered how the new "Dallas" was going to handle it. Now TVLine is reporting that the show will lay J.R. Ewing to rest in the eighth episode of the second season. The episode will air March 11th on TNT.
Former Elmo Puppeteer Accused Again
A 4th man has come forward to accuse Kevin Clash of an underage sexual relationship. This man, known as "John Doe" in the lawsuit, says he was 16 or 17 at the time and that Clash flew him to New York City, gave him money, and put him up in a hotel. John Doe's attorney, Jeff Herman, tells TMZ Clash "knowingly paid to transport a minor across state lines for the purpose of satisfying his sexual interests." Clash has not responded to the lawsuit.
"Skyfall" Back at Number One
Now here's something you don't see every day - a film that's been out for weeks back in the number one spot again. The latest Bond film, "Skyfall," has done it. The film is also now the highest grossing movie in Sony Pictures' history with $918-million in ticket sales worldwide. In second over the weekend it was "Rise of the Guardians" followed by "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2."

It's all over, and new winners have been crowned. The 21st season finale of "The Amazing Race" aired Sunday night, and Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge won the million dollars.

Stephen Baldwin Arrested for Tax Evasion
The younger brother of Alec Baldwin, Stephen Baldwin, has been arrested for failing to pay New York State personal income tax for 2008 to 2010. He owes the government $350,000. Alec told CNN's Piers Morgan he doesn't think Stephen will go to jail and that the media has blown the whole thing out of proportion.

The Grammy Awards aren't just about music. In fact, former President Bill Clinton and First Lady Michelle Obama are each nominated for a Grammy in the Best Spoken Word category. Bill Murray May Be On Board for "Ghostbusters 3"
He was the lone hold out for the third "Ghostbusters" film, but now it looks as if Bill Murray is on board. He was recently talking to reporters on the red carpet for a movie premiere and said he's considering returning to the franchise. And SuperOfficialNews.com quoted Harold Ramis as saying Murray had recently called him "out of nowhere" telling him he was in. Dan Aykroyd told "Metro" magazine earlier this summer the film will go on with or without Bill Murray. Shooting is scheduled to start next year.

Frankie Muniz Confirms He Had a Mini Stroke
He turns 27 today, but the former star of "Malcom in the Middle" has confirmed he was in the hospital last Friday after suffering a "mini stroke." Doctors are still trying to figure out what caused it, but Muniz says the health scare is forcing him to take a closer look at how he takes care of himself.

Will & Kate Are Having a Baby
The moment every media outlet has waited for since that kiss on the balcony is finally here! The Royals are having a baby. It was officially announced today that Prince William and Duchess Kate are expecting a baby. Because of recent changes, it doesn't matter whether the baby is a boy or a girl...either will become third in line to the throne after Prince Charles and Prince William. Prince Harry will move to the fourth spot in line when the baby is born. Meanwhile, the Duchess has been admitted to the hospital for severe morning sickness and is said to be expected to stay for a few days.
Top Three at the Box Office Stays the Same
The top three films at the theaters haven't changed in a few weeks. Once again it was "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" in first place with $17.4-million. "Skyfall" was a close second with $17-million, and "Lincoln" was third again with $13.5-million.
